Integrative Medicine

Come join us as we discuss further the defining principles and practice of integrative medicine.  In integrative medicine, patient and practitioner are partners in the healing process, taking in all factors that influence health, wellness, and disease into consideration, including mind, spirit, and community, as well as the body.  Learn the appropriate use of both conventional and alternative methods that facilitates the body's innate healing response. Alongside the concept of treatment, the broader concepts of health promotion and the prevention of illness are paramount.

Athletes and the Arts has grown to 20 collaborative organizations and continues to work to educate medical personnel, administrator / educators and performers about wellness and optimal performance. Join us for some discussion around this growing initiative that features many PAMA-driven projects, organizational initiatives around harassment and mental health and your ideas.

Primary Care Interest Group

STK Westwood

A salon gathering for primary care physicians and other health professionals who would like to share ideas about the role of primary care within performing arts medicine.  Primary care clinicians who include performing arts medical care into their practice environment are encouraged to attend and share their experiences with new attendees and members.
