New Executive Director for PAMA

We are pleased to announce a new member to the PAMA management team, Julie Massaro, CAE, MBA.  Julie has been training with Mary Fletcher since August and will be taking over the role as PAMA’s new Executive Director in December.  Mary and her husband Dwight will be off to new adventures soon. In order to ensure a smooth transition, Mary will stay involved, on a part time basis, all the way through the Symposium next year in Snowmass/Aspen where we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PAMA symposium, July 26-29, 2012.

Julie is a seasoned association management professional with prior experience in senior positions with the American Water Works Association, Financial Planning Association, and the Association of Peri-Operative Registered Nurses. While there, Julie championed chapter programs and services, grew memberships and revenues, strengthened advocacy efforts, and created outstanding conferences and events. Julie is a Certified Association Executive, a designation bestowed only to individuals possessing expert-level understanding of association management practices. She holds an MBA in Marketing and a BA from the University of Denver.

Please give Julie a warm welcome as she joins the PAMA community.  Julie can be reached at (303) 808-5643 and executive@artsmed.org.
