Mentorship Program Begins!

We are happy  to announce a new mentorship program that partners youngprofessional and student members with established performing arts medical professionals. For our young membership this program offers an opportunity to get expert advice on everything from planning their education to interviewing tips and how to make the most of their Symposium experience.  For our seasoned members, this program will gives an opportunity to share what you've learned over years of experience and help a young person achieve their dreams of joining the performing arts medicine profession. This program comes out of a collaboration between our new Young Professionals Committee of PAMA and the board of directors.  We encourage you to apply for a mentor and for our experienced members get involved with the next generation!

Abstracts will be accepted until May 15, 2016. The committee is looking for innovative research, educational approaches and practical application addressing medical issues and/or applied teaching practices in Dance, Music and Theatre. The audience for the conference is a mixture students, artists, educators, researchers and medical professionals.
